Restorative Dental Treatment

These days, the general population is more aware of the importance of dental care than ever before. Unfortunately, more than 90% of Americans will develop at least one cavity in their lifetime.

At Parkview Dental, we have ways that we can nurse a damaged tooth back to full health without compromising the way your smile looks. We’ll always select the most conservative and least invasive treatment that will have your smile looking and feeling its best.

  • Our doctors at Parkview Dental use the latest most advanced materials to restore your teeth back into full function.

We have multiple types of composite resin available in the specific shade necessary to bring your smile back to life.  Our doctors will utilize their knowledge and experience to select the specific treatment needs for your mouth.

  • For cases with more extensive decay, we can encase the tooth with a dental crown to preserve its remaining structure and renew its full function.

Dental crowns can be crafted from numerous materials, including durable metal for the back teeth. However, many patients prefer crowns made from porcelain or other tooth-colored options. That way, their restoration blends in with the surrounding teeth while also protecting the tooth from further damage.

We’re proud to offer same-day crowns to patients at our Asheville office. Learn more about same-day crown treatment here.

  • A dental bridge is a simple way to replace one, two, or even three missing teeth in a row. Made of tooth-colored porcelain, a dental bridge consists of two crowns that are fitted over your natural teeth and have a fixed number of artificial teeth in between them.

This solution literally “bridges” the gap created by missing teeth with a personalized, lifelike solution that lets you chew foods with ease and smile with confidence.

  • For a patient who has lost most or all of their natural teeth, the right denture can be truly life-changing. We design each of these prosthetics (which consist of a pink acrylic base and realistic false teeth) from scratch to meet a patient’s specific needs.

A partial denture completes the smile like the last missing piece of a puzzle, while a full denture restores an entire arch at once by sitting on the gums.
