CEREC Same Day-Crowns in Asheville, NC
Our Same-Day Crown Procedure
For cases of more extensive decay, we can encase the tooth with a dental crown to preserve its remaining structure and renew its full function. Dental crowns can be crafted from numerous materials, including durable metal for the back teeth. However, many patients prefer crowns made with tooth-colored materials. That way, their restoration blends in with the surrounding teeth while also protecting the tooth from further damage.
CEREC One-Visit Dental Crown Restoration
Traditionally, placing a dental crown or other restoration required two appointments: one to prepare the tooth, capture impressions and make a temporary crown, and another to cement the restoration to the tooth.
Thanks to CEREC technology, the vast majority of crowns can be completed in one visit!
By using computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD-CAM), as well as an in-house milling machine, CEREC allows our dentists to design, fabricate, and place your crown in a single visit! This makes it more convenient than ever for our patients to get the care their smiles need.
